πŸŽ‡ Time for Patriotic Crafts! πŸŽ‡

Hello Reader,

I love everything about the 4th of July...cookouts, time with family, fireworks, parades, celebrating freedom...what's not to love? We really do it up right.

I can hardly believe that July 4th is just around the corner. This summer is really flying by...

TODAY'S FREEBIE

I wanted to make you something to enhance the celebration. So, I created a placemat that you can use at your cookout with activities for the kids to complete while you're finishing the grilling.

It even has a little July 4th scavenger hunt list. Print it double sided and grab some crayons or markers.

You won't find this anywhere on inthebagkidscrafts.com. It's extra special just for you today.

IN THE SHOP

To be honest, there isn't anything particularly patriotic in the "In the Bag" shop, but crafts are a good idea any time. But my go to recommendation for crafting with your kids all summer long is the collection of 100 craft flashcards.

Choose a few of your favorite crafts and print out the flashcards. Attach them to your craft supply bag, and you're ready with a grab and go screen-free activity any time.

I know that you've probably never heard of craft flashcards before hanging out here...that's because it's something that I made up.

I love the idea of breaking an activity down into bit-sized pieces so that the task becomes easier...even for the littles. A craft that they may not have attempted before becomes simpler in this form.

Plus, I like having something that you can hold in your hand that doesn't involve a screen. (I'm the kind of girl who still goes to libraries and likes the smell of actual books.) Flashcards are the perfect thing.

And did I mention that each set of craft cards costs less than 25cents?

TRENDING CRAFTS

Let's start off with a few patriotic crafts that you can do over the next couple of weeks...or even during your cookout as a break from the sun.
