Hey Reader, I never thought of myself as a beach person. I'm a fair skinned red-head who can't be in the sun for long or I fry. But there's just something about the sound of the waves, the sensation of the ocean breeze, the pure joy at seeing dolphins jumping in the water...it's definitely my happy place. And whether you have a beach trip planned during summer vacation or not, it can be your happy place too with the fun crafts I'm about to share. IN THE SHOP Sticking with the beach theme, today's featured shop product is truly one of my favorite sets of crafts I've ever created. This collection includes 7 paper plate under the sea animal crafts, complete with instructions and templates. I think that my favorite is the walrus...or maybe the narwhal... It's priced at just $7 (less than $1 per craft...you can't even get a coffee for that). Honestly, I think that I'm raising that price soon. It's just too much cuteness for such a low price. My absolute favorite part of my job is when families come to the studio so that we can craft together. It was so much fun when my young friend, George, made the shark craft with me from this collection. He has quite an imagination and had his own take on the craft. It was so awesome!
